Classification and Application of Counter-rotating Twin-screw Plastics Extruder

Counter-rotating twin-screw extruders are another type of twin-screw extruders, which include two kinds of parallel and conical extruders. There are also low-speed and high-speed transport transformation of parallel extruder.

 

1. Parallel counter rotating twin-screw extruder (low speed of 10-50r/ min): Mainly used to process RPVC, granulating or profile extrusion.

2. Parallel counter rotating twin-screw extruder (high speed of 200-300r/min): It is mainly used for mixing, producing high-filler, high-molecular alloy, reaction extrusion, etc., and can also produce color master batch.

3. Conical twin screw extruder: mainly used for processing RPVC products, such as tubes, plates and profiles, or for mixed granulation.
