The two stage extruder :The first stage twin extruder usually runs at the high speed for better compounding and higher throughput. The second stage must be a single screw extruder, with a large diameter and low speed operation. The low screw speed avoids over-shearing force, Due to the strong heat exchange ability ,the internal cooling system can effectively prevent overheating . The two stage extruder allows the operator to perform more flexible , predictable mixing processes and temperature control.
The two stage extruder is mainly used for the compounding of thermoplastic and shearing . double-stage structure are suitable for processing a variety of materials, such as: PVC, XLPE cable material, soft PVC medical material, hard PVC, EVA foam sole material, PE low smoke no Halogen resistance fuel, etc.
