I. Key Factors in Choosing Masterbatch Carriers

1. Compatibility with TPE Matrix

The carrier must have a similar chemical structure to the TPE base to prevent poor dispersion or blooming.

2. Matching Processing Temperatures

The melting point of the carrier should align with the TPE processing range to ensure smooth dispersion during pelletizing.

3. Impact on TPE Properties

The carrier should not significantly compromise key TPE attributes such as elasticity, weather resistance, or food safety.

4. Cost and Processing Efficiency

Select carriers that meet performance needs while minimizing cost and maximizing processing efficiency.


II. Recommended Masterbatch Carriers by TPE Application

1. Toys, Stationery, Soft Overmolded Part

Recommended Carrier: LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)

Advantages:

  • Good compatibility with non-polar TPEs
